Disposable Curtains

Infection control within the hospital environment is a key issue in the assessment of a hospital's performance. There are a number of ways to combat the spread of micro-organisms on cubicle curtains one of which is to use disposable curtains so that they can be immediately removed in an area exposed to high infection.

Francis Price disposable curtains are manufactured from 100% recyclable polypropylene and are treated with Microguard anti-bacterial formulation. Microguard treated fabric has been independently tested against a range of bacteria including MRSA. It has proved to be extremely effective, both in anti-microbial activity and in creating a zone of inhibition around the fabric.

The curtains are permanently pleated as part of the manufacturing process. This ensures that the curtains will always stack neatly, and close to the wall, giving the ward a bright and orderly appearance at all times.
